Keanu Douglas Bittern

On January 2, 2025, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our son, Keanu Douglas Bittern at the age of 24 years. He is survived by his mum Sherri, dad Hubert, sister Madison (Mikey), brothers Christian, Clayton, and Lance (Charmaine), and their families. He is also survived by his biological father Greg (Margaret), sister Tessa, brothers Trent and Reid. Grandparents Michael and Beverly Hindmarch, Ronald and Wilma Mitchell, Rose Klippenstein and Ron Hancox, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and precious daughter Leia Bittern.

Keanu had a passion for square dancing, showcasing his impressive jigging skills. He enjoyed art, gaming with friends online and spending endless time facetiming with his special aunt Andrea. Additionally, he cherished playing sequence with his mum and her friends Chelsea Little and Betty Sainnawap. Keanu valued time spent with his sister Madison and Mikey, sharing laughter, jokes, and good conversation. Keanu enjoyed listening to his younger brother Reid speak the language and spending time with siblings Trent and Tessa. Music played a significant role in Keanu’s life, with a playlist featuring his dad Hubert's oldies. Keanu was a kind-hearted young man with a heart of gold, always prioritizing others' needs. His thoughtful nature and genuine concern for others, particularly his childhood friend Clinton, were hallmarks of his character. Keanu cared deeply for his family and friends.

Wake service will be held at the Eternal Grace Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 7pm – 10pm.
