Joyce Constance (Cameron) Stevenson

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly loved Joyce Stevenson at the age of 82. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, relative and friend. She began her journey home to her ancestors on Saturday December 23rd, 2023, at Concordia Hospital after battling on-going medical challenges.

Joyce was born in Swan Lake, Manitoba and later moved to Winnipeg. Anyone who was lucky enough to know Joyce knew that she was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother who held close-knit relationships with her family and friends.  She was a loving matriarch for her family and loved ones. Joyce truly had the most loving heart and was known for her kindness, everyone she cared for knew just how important they were to her and how immensely proud she was of them. She held special friendships with her sisters and cousins,

  Joyce was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Harvey Stevenson, daughter Tracey, and infant son Dwayne; parents Richard Cameron, Nellie Daniels and Elsie Cameron; siblings Ricky, Karen, Floyd, Norman and Bob Cameron.

She is survived by her children Janet (Scotty), and Ron (aka Chum); grandchildren Brent, Dana, Matthew, Shayla, Tyler, Braiden, Brett, Skyler, and Tatianna; great grandchildren Kayleigh, Caiden, Jayda, Tashantay, Alania, Tyler Jr, and Tadrian; sisters Rita, Betty, Claudia and Ruth and brothers Dennis (Butch) and Tommy Joe.

We all will always remember her beautiful smile, her loving spirit, and we will always cherish the time we were given to share with her.

Wake in honour of Joyce will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Ave. at McPhillips St.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Ave. at McPhillips St. followed by a feast and interment at Brookside Cemetery.
