Tragically on Thursday August 6,2020 our beloved Joshua Hansen was taken to the spirit world to be with the creator.

Joshua leaves to mourn his mother Elizabeth Thomas (Chris); second mother Josephine Choken and Melanie Ice; father Robert Bear (Brenda); stepfather Nelson Thomas; his sister Alexi Hansen (Jakob); sister in law Chasity Ice; brother Damien Bradford; partner Cody Ice; special aunts Irma Hansen, Carolyn Oatway; cousin Tessa Hanson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Joshua had special mentors in his life who played an important role, they are Barbara and Clarence Nepinak and family, and his uncle Melvin Starr who taught him Hoop Dancing. George Spence also played a role in Joshua’s life.

Joshua was a loving and caring Two-spirited person who took pride and was very compassionate when it came to loving children. He was known as uncle “Josh” by many. Joshua was a professional hoop dancer which took him all over the world, with his “Summer Bear Dance Troup.”

Private viewing will be held on Thursday August 13,2020 at Eternal Grace Funerals. Wake service will continue Thursday evening at Elizabeth Thomas Homestead. Final ceremonies will be held on Friday August 14,2020 at the Homestead.

Cremation to follow.

 Pallbearers will be Darrell Hansen, Raymond Raven, Jared Hansen, Aaron Syberg, Devon Falloon and Steven Favel. Honorary Pallbearers; Chris Traverse, Melvin Starr, Nelson Thomas and Cody Ice and Debbie Stevenson.

Joshua touched a lot of hearts and will be missed dearly by everyone he knew.
