It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our family patriarch, Joshua Lucas Bruyere.

Joshua was born to Sonya Joyce Murray, and Jeffrey Cameron Bruyere on July 4th, 1988, in Winnipeg, MB.

In his early years, Joshua loved sports – he especially excelled in hockey, baseball, and skateboarding. Joshua had an immense love for music, and as he grew his interests expanded to tattooing, guitar, cooking for his family and friends, and was an exceptional Boxer. Joshua was loved by many and had a presence that earned respect by all.

Joshua will be remembered by his children Alyssa Raine, Jordan (Jordy), and Koltyn Bruyere. The mother of his children Lauren MacDonald. His treasured Granny Caroline Bruyere and his Father Jeffrey Bruyere. Siblings: Sarah Murray, Curtis Daniels and Zoe Bruyere. His cousins: Jared Bruyere, Nikki Bruyere (Dylan), Jordan Bruyere, April Bruyere (Cornelius), Seppel Bruyere (Sarah), Nicholai Bruyere, Tristen Bruyere (Skyelynn), Shadrach Bruyere (Nataliya), and his beloved Aunty Joannie. Joshua was a devoted Uncle to countless Nieces and Nephews and will be dearly missed by his closest friends, many of whom were warmly welcomed into Joshua’s family.

Joshua is predeceased by his Mother Sonya Murray, and Shoomie Richard (Rick) Johnston, and other family members and close friends who have passed on.

Service will be held on Monday July 14th at Eternal Grace Funerals, at 1111 Logan Ave, at 7pm.

Cremation to follow.
