Joseph Pitzl Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joseph Pitzl on January 7, 2020, at Fred Douglas care home.
Joe leaves to mourn his daughter Karen (Janet); granddaughters, Samantha (Doug), Michelle (Adam); two great-grandchildren, Chloe and Frank; and in his Austrian hometown his brothers, Hubert (Yutilla) and Paul; as well as many nieces and nephews. Joe is predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Rose; and son Joey; also his parents Paul and Katherina.
The family gives heartfelt thanks to the many doctors, nurses and caregivers at Fred Douglas Care home for all their kind and compassionate care.
A celebration of Joseph's life will be held at Eternal Grace Funeral Home, 1111 Logan Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, on January 24, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Joseph's name to D’Arcy’s Arc at 730 - B Century St., Winnipeg, MB, 204-888-2266.
