Joseph Andrew McLeod

It is with sadness the family of Joseph (Josh) McLeod announce his passing on December 11, 2021, in Winnipeg, MB. Joe (Josh) passed away unexpectedly after a short illness at the Health Sciences Centre.

Joe (Josh) is survived by his sisters Andrea McLeod, Patricia Richardson (Jay), Elin McLeod, Krystal Porter; brothers Trevor Nelson and Sean McLeod (Tobi); and mother Evelyn Nelson (Gordon).

Joe was predeceased by his father Joe Brown Sr.; second parents Roderick McLeod (2021) and Donna McLeod (2016); niece Rachel Hunter (1994).

Joseph Andrew McLeod was born April 4th, 1965, in Fort Frances, Ontario. Joe (Josh) was interred at St Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery, 299 Balderstone Rd, West Saint Paul, MB on January 14th, 2022. A gathering and reception will be held on May 28th, 2022, from 12 noon to 3:00 pm at Eternal Grace Funerals.

Joe was a gentle, artistic soul. He enjoyed drawing in various forms, classical music and was an accomplished pianist. Joe was also an avid chess player. Joe loved children but, held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephew and considered his sister Andrea’s children, Rachel, Christie and Skye, his own and he loved them dearly.
A time of reflection and sharing will begin at 1 pm. Friends and family are welcome to join the family in this memorial for Joe (Josh).
