In loving memory of Johnny Owens who was born and raised in Berens River, Manitoba by his grandparents Riley and Rose Bear. He leaves behind his mother Thelma Owens. He is survived by his siblings, Jamie-Lee Goosehead, Carlene Goosehead, his brother Courtney Luke Goosehead Jr, his aunts Marie Owens with Aaron Hudson, Charlene Goosehead, uncles Dennis Owens with Nina Felix, Marcus Bear with Trinity Felix, Riley Bear Jr with Eliza Bear, and Kyle Goosehead, and lots of friends and cousins too many to mention.

His dad passed away last year on June 29, 2024, his aunt Irma Owens passed away on April 17, 2025, his Aunty Silver Berens in 2019, and Granny Karlene Goosehead also had passed awhile back.

Johnny loved going canoeing with his friends, loved to go fishing, he was the wood chopper, he would chop wood for Riley. He loved all the babies, his favorite gospel song was "Ride out your storm", he always listened to it when he was feeling down. We are surely gonna miss him so much. Rest in peace Johnny boy.
