John Edgar Genaille

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father John Genaille on Saturday June 22,2024 at the St. Boniface Hospital age 73 years. He is survived by Louisa Bernadette Guimond (Scott), Sonya Beaulieu “Donald”, Shawn Guimond (Tina), Selena Guimond (Shawn), Sabrina Guimond, Sara Guimond, John Joseph Guimond Jr. (Irene); sister Mary Alice Tucker, special sister-in-law Eileen Guimond (Mike) and his lifelong friend Sheldon Harper along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

John was predeceased by his parents Fred Ackegan, and Olive Genaille, sisters and brother Janet Ackegan, May Cote (Eric) Cote, Leonard Ackegan, great aunt Sylvia Cote; son and daughter Alvin Cote, Priscilla Cote; nephews and niece Orlando Genaille-Cote, Allan Ackegan and Aretha Bodnarek; great grandson Hunter Guimond.

Wake service will be held on Friday July 5,2024 from 6 p.m. till 11 p.m., service will follow on Saturday July 6,2024 at 11 a.m. also at the chapel. Cremation to follow.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Cook-Kipling,Trevor Harper,Tylor Harper-Cook,Sheldon Harper,Donald Beaulieu,and Dylon Favel.The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface 7a west and the nicu and his family Dr. Martin and his home care nurses and his health care aids.
