John James Berens

Peacefully on Saturday April 19, 2025, John Berens, age 79 years, passed away at the Southeast Personal Care Home, in Winnipeg Mb.  

John was predeceased by his wife, Diane, parents, John and Mary Berens, his sister Darlene, his brother Alan and niece Donna-Marie. 

He is survived by his brothers, Jake (Pat), Maurice, Keith (Cathy). Nieces and nephews, Jackie (Chris), Missy (Darren), Calvin (Trish), Mark & Nicole, Jeff (Tamara) Rhonda, Terry (Loretta), Diane (Denis), Shiela (Richard) Derek (Jen) 

Along with many other great nieces, nephews and extended family.  

Viewing will be held Friday, April 25, 12:00 noon to 3:30 PM at Eternal Grace Funeral Home, 1111 Logan Ave.  Service beginning at 1:00 PM. Cremation to follow. Interment of his cremated remains will be held at a later time, in Berens River First Nation.
