We announce the sudden departure of Jeremy Phillip Davis (Jer) on May 30, 2025, at the age of 38 years old. Jer was born in Winnipeg on January 5, 1987, to our loving parents, Lorne & Valarie Davis.

He leaves behind his partner Tutaa Sammurtok of 14 years, and his children, Michael, Karma and Kiidaya, whom he loved dearly. His in-laws, Erica (Brian), Jenelle (Courtney), Aleatra (Mike) and Brian Jr.; his sisters, Melanie, Angie, Samantha (Sidney), Cassandra (Charlie), and brother Larry.

Also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Uncles Harold (Mary) Bruce, Alpheous (Sarah) Bruce; aunts, Sylvia, Marilyn Bruce, Verna (John)Valiquette, Gen, Jackie, and Kim (Stan) Keam.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Phillip & Violet Bruce; Uncle Ray Bruce; nephew Georgie; and Uncle Norman Bruce whom he pranked called about his refrigerator running away.

Jeremy was a very humble person who would give you the shirt off his back to a person in need. He referred to the homeless as his people and he would check on them daily. He also graduated grade 12 from Job Works and was extremely proud of his accomplishment. He had a soft spot for children and loved to be around them.

Wake Service will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 7pm – 10pm at Eternal Grace Funeral Home, 10-1111 Logan Ave, Winnipeg, MB, with a dinner to follow.

Funeral will take place at Eternal Grace, Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11 am with a luncheon to follow. 

We will then proceed to Brookside Cemetery to lay him to rest.

Officiating is Derek Letander at Brookside Cemetery

Pallbearers are; Lawrel Budd, Lance Bruce, Sidney Bruce, Charlie Mitchell, Dale Linklater, Joel McKay, Justin McKay, and Michael Sammurtok.
