It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our daughter and sister Dee-Foo (White Butterfly Woman) on Monday November 5,2023 at the St. Boniface Hospital.
Jennifer was born in Hudson Bay, SK. She spent her early years around the Briggs, Spur, Minitonas, and Swan River areas. In 1986 the family moved to Winnipeg where it’s been her home since. She graduated grade 12 from the Children of the Earth School, and later worked as a nursing assistant at the Health Science Centre.
Jenny leaves to cherish her memory her mother Audrey and sister Roxann all of Winnipeg; her father Danny Guiboche of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; sons Payton and Andrew; daughter Phoenix; nephew Jakob; nieces Madison, Tara, Arizona and Chloe; great niece Londynn; aunties Vivian Spence, Joyce Ferland, Brenda Ferland, Bernice Chartrand, Melvina Ferland, Anita Ferland, Shirley Thompson, Grace Menard, Lorraine Sutherland and Delma Richard; uncles Lawrence (Margaret), Joseph, Doug, and Fern Ferland, Walton and Leonard Guiboche; god parents Joseph and Melvina Ferland; numerous cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her great grandparents Arthur and Lizzie Ferland, Donald and Annie Guiboche; uncles Clifford and Bert Ferland and Clifford Guiboche whom she had a special place in her heart; aunts Shirley, Patsy and Olive Ferland.
Wake service will be held on Sunday November 19,2023 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals. Funeral service will follow on Monday November 20,2023 at 1p.m. also at the chapel. Brother Tom Novak officiating. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Payton Ferland-Spence, Cory Ferland, Dustin Ferland, Lawrence Ferland, Terrence Peters and Joseph Ferland. Honorary pallbearers are all her family and friends.
The family would like to thank the Grace, and St. Boniface Hospitals for all their care and support. Jennifer was an organ donor who was able to help others even after her passing.
