Jennifer was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her three children, Matthew, Jeremy, and Jade, who were the center of her world. She is also lovingly remembered by her father, Larry Kashuba, and her predeceased stepmother, Shirley Chartrand. She is survived by her mother, Alvina Duck (Delard); her brother, Alan; her sisters, Pauline and Melissa; and her step-siblings, Micheal, Cheryl, Terry, and Jenny; and her close friend and father figure, Jim, along with many other family members and loved ones.
She leaves behind her two beloved cats, Frosty and Snowman, whom she held very dear to her heart.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, George Dick, Edna Kashuba, Agnes Duck, and Raymond Duck.
She’s described as very quiet, very kind, and a good person. At the same time, she was outgoing and lovely. She was the life of the party whenever she came around. She didn’t take anything from anyone and was always the first to stand up for her family. Her stories were always wild, unforgettable, and told in a way where we’d go, “that’s Jenny for you.”
She carried both strength and softness within her. To her children, she was someone they could go to for comfort without judgement. Her love was fierce, protective, and unwavering. She was a little crazy but in the best way, a spirit that lives on in each of her kids.
Jennifer faced many challenges in her life, but she was more than her struggles. Though our hearts are shattered by this loss, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit has returned to the Creator, free from the pain she carried. She will continue to watch over her family in the wind, the stars, and the quiet moments when we feel her near. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
Wake service to be held on Thursday March 5, 2026, from 7pm – 11pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave. Winnipeg MB).
