Sadly, we announce the passing of our mother on May 1st, 2020. Jemima passed away peacefully in Winnipeg, MB to be with her husband William. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories her sons; Floyd (Marjorie), Howard, Lawrence (Sandra), Jack, Ivor and her daughters ; Mclaine (David), Sharon (Roger), her grandchildren she raised, Sharmaine (Randy), Sherry, Orville. Her nephews, Bryant (Lorna), Joseph (Sharon) and Albert, Her nieces Germaine (Nelson), Norma, Brenda (Bradley), Donna (Jonathan), Alice (Leonard), Rachel (Andrew), Alice (Deno), 59 Grandchildren, 68 Greatgrandchildren, 2 Great-greatgrandchildren and cousins Violet Brightnose, Rhonda Beardy, Sons-in-law; John G. Keeper, Nelson Morris, brothers-in-law Samuel Flett and Jude Flett. And sisters in law; Nancy Flett, Margaret Flett and Maria Flett.

Jemima predeceased by her loving husband William, her daughters Alice Keeper (Flett), Shirly Morris (Flett), and Son Robert Flett. Her parents Archie and Alice Wastesicoot (Wuskey) and in-laws Jobe and Victoria Flett (Moose). Her brothers George Wastesicoot, Billison Wastesicoot, Alfred Wastesicoot, Timothy Wastesicoot, Enock Wastesicoot, William Wastesicoot. Her sisters Jessie Keeper, Joan Wastesicoot, Mclaine Wastesicoot. Brothers-in-law; John Keeper, Daniel Flett, Harp Flett, Harry Flett, James Flett, George Flett, Andrew Beardy. Sisters-in-law; Maryann Beardy, Josela Kirkness, Georgina Anderson, Galena Flett, Emily Flett, Victoria Flett, Roma Flett, Nancy Flett, Linda Flett (Beardy). Uncles George Wuskey, Alex Wuskey, Benjamin Brightnose (Evelyn). Cousins John Brightnose, Gideon Wuskey and Grandchildren Nathaniel Thorassie, Hunter Morin.

Private viewing Tuesday May 5,2020 at Eternal Grace Funerals. Private viewing Thursday May 7,2020 at Boardman Funeral Home Thompson, MB. Funeral service will be held on Friday May 8,2020 at the Anglican Church at Tataskwayak Cree Nation.
