James Louis Fleury

James (Jim) Louis Fleury passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on October 26, 2025, at the age of 79.

Jim was predeceased by his Wife Rose Fleury in 1996, his Son Ashley Fleury in 2008, his Mother Martha Fleury in 1981, his Father Louis Fleury in 1997 & his Sister Mary Holomay in 2023.

Jim will be sadly missed by his children Cindy (Carl), Travis (Melissa), Tori (Devon), and Trisha (Trent). Grandchildren Whitney, Renee (Leon), Timothy (Emma), Naziah, Devon, Nailah, Lucca, Elijah, Kai, Maia, and Ophelia. Great grandchildren Krystyne, Sophie, Braeden, Liam & Avaleigh. Former spouse Linda. Siblings, Doreen, Marilyn, Shirley, Gladys, Diane, Phyllis, Vivian, Darlene, Leonard, Albert, and Norman. His Nephew Norman, who lived and took care of him for many years. His Niece Angie Fleury who he took in as one of his own. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Jim was born and raised in Camperville, MB.

He grew up with 21 siblings and loved each one of them. Jim loved to work, he was a jack of all trades. If you needed help with fixing your vehicle, he was the first person to show up. Jim would take his shirt off his own back to help anyone and everyone in need. He loved his children and his (great) grandchildren and spoiled all his babies. Jim loved having family gatherings and enjoyed big dinners. Jim was loved by everyone around him, he would talk to anyone that he came across, everyone was his friend. Jim was a funny man, full of humor, he loved joking around and making sure to keep everyone around him smiling. As he got older Jim enjoyed sitting on his deck with his daughters & son alongside his (great)grandbabies. Jim will be truly missed by everyone.

Wake service will be held Thursday November 6, 2025, from 7pm – 10pm, at Kateri Church (265 Flora Ave, Winnipeg, MB).

Funeral service to follow Friday November 7, 2025, at 11am, also at the Kateri Church.

Cremation to follow.
