James Silas Chartrand

James was predeceased by his beloved wife, Kim (Moffat); daughter, Karen Joynson; and his sister, Norma.

He leaves to mourn his children: Renee (Brian), Adrienne (Alex), and Benjamin; his grandchildren, Celina and Keegan; his parents, James and Lorraine; his brothers, Ben (Mare), Desmond (Shelly), and Peter Bear; and his sisters, Jocelyn (Darren) and Cynthia (Mark). He will also be lovingly remembered by his nephews, Grant, Walter (Jessica), Tristan, and Brennan; his surrogate daughter, Jasmine; his granddaughter, Sophia; and his cherished fur babies, Winston and Bob.

James was a loving, strong, honorable, and compassionate man. He loved his family more than life itself. He would literally give the shirt off his back to help others. Anyone who knew him well loved him.
