Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gladys Mae Shorting of Winnipeg, Mb. Gladys passed away on Monday September 4, 2023 at the age of 66 years old.

She leaves to mourn her partner of 26 years Dean Welsh; sister Doris Sinclair; Brother Ernie Shorting; and special friend Marianne. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents Donald & Mable Shorting; daughter Wendy (Gwendolyn).

She enjoyed playing Bingo and listening to music. Most of all her cats were her favorite. If you were a stray cat and homeless Auntie Gladys would bring you home.

Wake service will be held on September 17, 2023 from 6:00p.m. – 10:00p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals.
