Georgey (George) Frank Novak

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Georgey Frank Novak (George) born on February 3rd, 1968.

He passed away peacefully at his home in Winnipeg Manitoba on December 17th, 2025.

He leaves to mourn his sisters Roseanna Novak, Mary Beaudry & Dianna Novak, as well as numerous nieces, nephew's, grand-nieces & grand-nephews, uncles, aunties, cousins & friends.

George is predeceased by his Parents Frank Novak, Cecilia Peters, Grand parents Gyorgy Novak, Megla Anna Novak, Joseph H Peters, Rosalie Ann Harry, Brother Audie Peters, Sister Sandra Peters, Grand-niece Carolyne Miracle-Ann Thiessen- Derksen & numerous other family members.

George was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba by parents Frank Novak & Cecilia Peters.

He lived his life on earth to the fullest, he also encouraged others to do the same.

George's favorite pastime was fishing.

Also camping & going out to the lakes & rivers with his family & friends.

He loved to partake in fishing derbies.

He also loved to play sports.

Hockey, sponge hockey, baseball, softball & golf.

He was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, the respect & love he showed to everyone he encountered. He stayed closely connected to his family, calling them often, checking in and offering his unconditional love and support.

His presence brought comfort, laughter, warmth & love to those fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed.

Szeretlek, bátyám. I love you, my older brother.

Losing you is a pain I can barely put into words, a part of me is broken.

It still doesn’t feel real.

I will miss you every day my brother, and I will love you and keep you in my heart for the rest of my life.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial service & celebration of life will be held on Thursday January 15th, 2026, from 12pm – 4pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave. Winnipeg MB). Service to start at 1:30pm.
