Freda Louise Favel

On Thursday March 12, Freda passed away with her son Greg by her side.

Freda was born in hollow water to parent’s, Mother Mary Jane Adore and Father Joe Black. She was predeceased by her brother Peter Smith; Sisters Marie Abraham and Irene black; and Uncle Joe Sky. She is also survived by her brother Clifford (Bonnie).

Freda leaves to mourn her son Greg (Lorna) Dion; daughter Tanya; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Freda worked as a seamstress until taking on full duties of raising her grandchildren. Sabrina, Aiden, Raven, Avery, grandson Cias, as well as her great grandchildren Kaison, Ducailain, and Sylis.

Wake to be held on Wednesday March 25, 2026, from 7pm – 10pm at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave. Winnipeg MB).

Funeral service will be held on Thursday March 26, 2026, at 12pm, also at Eternal Grace Funerals.

Cremation to follow.
