Everet Murdock

With loving thoughts and healing we remember Everet Warren (Jr) Murdock with love and wish filled memories.

Everet passed away Saturday June 14, 2025, at the age of 40 years old. We remember Everet’s smile, his energy and motivation to help family and friends when asked. He leaves this world of hurt and confusion for a better and comforting existence.

He is and was so proud of his daughters; Jaeda Cochrane-Murdock, Janessa Roulette, and Jenna Roulette, they are his shining stars. Everet’s greatest wish for his daughters was to see that they have a better life then he could have dreamed. He hoped to see them accomplish success as they made their own path through education, sports, career and love. It filled his heart with sadness that he was unable to see them become the successful examples of positive inspiration that he was sure they would become as they grew into independent women.

He is lovingly missed and remembered by his mom Ethel Murdock, his stepdad Joe Guiboche, his stepmom Karen Chambers, his brothers Ryan Murdock (Amanda), Michael Murdock, Brandon Murdock (Samantha), Dakota Chambers-Hourie, his sisters Dominique Murdock (Abu), Madison Kipling (Evan), and his wonderful nieces and nephews.

Everet was predeceased by his dad Everet Warren (Sr) Hourie, his paternal grandparents Barbara (nee Sumner) and Christopher Hourie, his maternal grandparents Myrtle (nee Nanowin) and Edgar (Sr) Murdock, his aunts; Karon Hourie, Patrecia Hourie, Brenda Murdock, Elaine Flett, Donald Murdock, Timothy Murdock, and Edgar Jr. Murdock.

As part of Everet’s charm and rugged good looks, he will be lovingly missed by his daughter, Jaeda’s mom, Dayna Cochrane and Janessa, and Jenna’s mom Nadine Roulette. Everet is part of a large family and will be greatly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

As we say farewell to Everet, we know that he has gone to a place of love and healing. He will always hold a place in our hearts. We are blessed to have had Everet in our lives and that we hold memories that make saying goodbye so hard.

Message for his daughters:

If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart, I’ll always be with you.

Wake service will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2025, at 7:00pm – 11:00pm at Eternal Grace Funerals, Winnipeg, MB,10 - 1111 Logan Ave. Funeral service will follow on Thursday July 10, 2025, at 11:30 am at Eternal Grace Funerals. Cremation to follow with private interment, at a later date, at Elmwood Cemetery, 88 Hespeler Ave, Winnipeg, MB.
