It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Emily Marsden who went on to be with her Lord Jesus and Saviour on October 20, 2025, at the age of 35. Emily was a mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin and dear friend.
She is survived by her children, Mariah and Michel, her mother Lee, sister Crystal Delanie, and brother Alex John, her aunts Marlene, Caroline, Lorraine, Myrtle, her maternal grandmother Marie Orvis. Emily’s uncle Derek and her special uncle Ray. Emily was close to her Aunt Lorraine whom she visited often and as a child was close to her aunt Caroline. All of her cousins, nieces and nephews too many to mention. Emily was predeceased by her father Emery Marsden, paternal uncles Hebron, Gary, Warren, Murray, and Alexander. Aunts Mary, Evelyn, and Lydia. Grandparents Daniel and Eva Marsden. Maternal aunts Karen and Michelle.
Emily cherished her children and family, especially, her big brother Alex John whom she nicknamed “Bro”. Emily deeply valued the staff of the Charis Centre in Winnipeg whom she believed helped in her miraculous journey of faith. Her special friend Patricia Murdock. When Emily met challenges in her life, she with God’s perseverance and guidance would overcome those challenges. Emily believed in the kindness and tender mercies of her Saviour and inspired other women to believe in the same goodness of spiritual faith. Emily successfully completed an important course recently and graduated with a clear Vision of Hope for the Future. In the final moments of her life, Emily’s final testimony ended with the bible verse, “2 Corinthians 13:14, The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” Then she left us. Emily will be missed but her Vision of Jesus will live on - in the hearts of those who knew her.
A wake service for Emily will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, starting 7pm to 11pm at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave, Winnipeg). Lunch will be served after the service.

2 Timothy 4:7,8
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
