Eliza Maria (Grieves) Coates

Eliza Marie Coates passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 1st, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness. She was a devoted wife, a cherished mother, a beloved sister, and a guiding light to generations of family. 

Eliza is survived by her loving husband, Danny, and their children: Douglas, Beverly, Sarah, Rebekah, Reuben, Jeremiah, and Leah. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Mary Anne, Bertha, Beatrice, and Daniel, as well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. 

Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched. 

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

Wake service will be held on Wednesday February 5,2025 from 7 p.m.- 10 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals, 1111 Logan Avenue. Funeral service will follow on Thursday February 6,2025 at 12 noon also from the chapel, interment Brookside Cemetery.
