It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Brother, Grandpa, Great-grandpa, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend.

Derek Randy Leon Orvis (Papa)

October 7, 1959 - January 30, 2025

at his residence with his brother In-law Stanley at his company. 

Derek is survived by his wife, Rose Spence; Daughter's, Angela (Norman), Caroline (Kristen), and Leah (Eric); Son's, Conrad and Wesley (Michelle); Siblings, Brother Wallace (Audrey); Grandchildren, Santana, Adam, Ashley, Norman, Derek, George, Nicholas, Laura-May, Norman-Mya, Azriah, Willow, Gabriel, Adele, Faith, Winter, Jasmine, Braiden, Rayna, Letty, Westley, Skylar, Nodin, Andrea, Ellice, Joseph, Phoenix, and Isaiah. 

Great Grandchildren: Kian & Shilo.

Derek was predeceased by his parents, Bert and Alma Orvis (Pie Granny); Brother’s, Jerry, Alvin, Warren and Kelly; Sister, Wendy; Son, Adam Spence, and Nephew, Matthew.

A viewing and celebration of life for Derek Orvis and his brother Burton Orvis will be held on Sunday February 9,2025 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals. Cremation to follow.
