Dee (Corinne) Lynn Forbister

With grief in our hearts, we are sad to announce the passing of Dee Forbister. Dee was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She loved to adventure outside of the province, or just simply go for a drive whether it be alone or with friends, or family, she especially loved making a trip to get the best Slurpee in town!

Anyone who knew Dee, knew how rough and tough she was on the outside, but also how loving and caring she was on the inside. Dee had a heart of pure gold, quick wits, and a sense of humor that as known for making a brick wall laugh! Dee was also a jack of all trades, she loved to buy little things to refurbish and rebuild, for her beloved bird Poosie. Poosie was one of her best friends and the two of them loved to rock out together. In recent years Dee has gone through various health issues, she has gone through good times and bad times, but has always remained a happy and positive person finding some way to make it better or make an adventure out of it.

          Dee will be dearly missed.

Dee is predeceased by her Mother (Emma), Father (Andrew), Stepfather (Andy), Sisters (Kathy, Joanne, and Veronica), Niece (Morgan).

Dee will be remembered by her Brother Ken (Dodi), Nieces & Nephews; Drew, Sabrina (Ryan), Mandy (Randy), Sheri (Rob), Wayde, Dagen (Amy). Great Nieces & Nephews; Myeesha (Brandon), Hunter (Montana), Dade (Natalie), Jessica (Addison), Justin, Brittney, Brandon, Matthew, Cordellia, Cohen, and Dorian.

Great, Great Nieces & Nephews; Liam, Aurora, Rayne, and Archer.

Thank you, Nick Kynsh for hosting her funeral service.

Most importantly thank you to her Best friend (20 years plus), Heather. She has been through all of the good times and the bad times with Dee, she lived just down the hall and always looked out for Dee to make sure she had everything she needed, and provided her with someone to tell jokes to and as well share stories with.

Any donations in Dee’s honor can be donated to any animal shelter, Dee had a melting heart for all animals.

A Service will be held on Wednesday February 5, 2020 at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Ave.(at McPhillips St.) starting at 2pm. Cremation to follow.
