Darryl Dwayne Wood

Darryl was born March 28,1973 in Winnipeg, MB. Darryl grew up in Oxford House, Darryl was a humble hard-working man that would do anything to help anybody out in need. He loved music and loved to joke around with friends and family. Darryl could easily tell you fond memories of hunting with his late dad Johnson Wood. He truly loved the wilderness and animals, especially dogs. When Darryl left Oxford House, he made his way working hard to better himself. Regardless of distance Darryl always maintained his love for his family, especially to his children and grandchildren. Darryl will be missed by numerous friends and family. Darryl was respectful man and will always be remembered with that infectious smile and laugh. “In the end, a family is not a title; it is loyalty, love, trust, respect and, relying on and knowing without a doubt that some people will be there for you. So, blood might make you related as the only reason for a family.

Wake service will be held on Wednesday July 19,2023 and Thursday July 20,2023 from 7 p.m. -12 midnight at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Avenue. Funeral service will follow on Friday July 21,2023 at 12 noon also at the chapel. Cremation to follow. Interment of his cremated remains.
