Crystal Marie Amy Coutu

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Crystal Marie Amy Coutu on August 4th, 2023 at the Grace Hospital.

Crystal was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 29, 1979, to Denise Coutu and Robert (bobby) Desjarlais. She was raised in St. Laurant, Later moved back to Winnipeg.

Crystal is predeceased by her grandfather Arthur (Galation) Desjarlais, Grandmother Alice (Nee) Desjarlias, Grandfather Leandre Coutu, Uncle Frank (Francois), Frederick (Guy), John (Jean), Aunty Elizabeth (Betty), Niece Lovely, Baby Coutu, Hunter, Great Great Grandfather Albert, Great Great Grandmother Amanda, Uncle Donat, Sylvan, Edward, Oscar, Rene, Anthony, Denis (Nini), Grandmother Berthe, Grandfather Alexandre Coutu, Her father Robert (Bobby) 2016, and Brother Clayton 2020.

She has survived by her grandmother Aurea Marie Coutu, Mother Denise Coutu (Ron), Daughter Mariah Coutu; brother Edward Coutu (Jess); Grandchildren Zariah (Who Called her Mommy), and Briella; Niece Autumn; Nephews Latrell Coutu, Jayce Coutu, and Clayton Coutu; Numerous other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Crystal always enjoyed being around family whether it was at a birthday celebration or just to enjoy a night out with music and family, she was always happy to be there. But nothing will compare to the love she always had for her daughter Mariah and granddaughters Zariah and Briella whom both meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family members.

Wake Service will be held on Thursday August 17, 2023. From 7pm-11pm at Eternal Grace Funerals

1111 Logan Ave.

Funeral service will follow on Friday August 18, 11am also at the chapel.

Interment at Brookside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Desjarlais, Len(JR) Coutu, Jason Coutu, Darren Coutu, Jordin Dawson, and Rudy Carpentier.
