Christina Virginia Beardy

It is with heavy hearts that we share with family and friends the passing of our dear Christina Virginia Beardy after an interim illness that took her to God’s glory, her parents, brothers and family’s waiting arms. Sadly, Christina left her family to mourn her at the St. Boniface Hospital on the afternoon of Thursday, April 10th at 1:01 P.M. After encountering a series of blood clots, enlarged heart, and pulmonary emulsion.

Christina attended school in Lake St. Martin up to the time the family moved to Winnipeg where she continued her education at St. Johns.

Chrissy as known to family and friends, lived life in Winnipeg from an early age till the time of her demise, at this time she met a lot of people most becoming her lasting friends. Life in the city was very challenging for Chrissy but somehow she managed to survive, cope, and thrive to the best of her surroundings, situations, and her choices. She often cried and grieved for her loved ones wanting so much to join them in paradise.

Chrissy leaves behind to miss her and grief her untimely demise her only daughter Justine and her pride and joy 6 grandchildren namely, Jaylynn, Lyle, Kashtyn, Gage, Real, and Ayla Keeper, and son in law, Lyle Keeper Sr. her brother Norman, and sisters Darlene Joyce, Melva, surviving aunts Shirley M. Shorting and Linda Ferrell, SILaw Buffy, Raven, Amelia, and her friend and adopted sister Ardelle Woodhouse, cousin Rebecca Sinclair, and her adopted father Jerry Woodhouse, and all extended family and many friends.

She is united with those gone before her, her parents Alex Beardy Sr. and Rose Omeara, her precious brother Alexander Clifford Melvin, infant brother Everette, recently her brother Bert, Neice Cassidy, grandparents George and Christina Beardy, aunt Priscilla Sinclair, grandfather Jim Omeara, aunts Violet Murdock, Beatrice Pruden, uncles Leonard and John Omeara, Diane (Norman) and Jolene (Melva).

Wake service will be held at on Friday, April25, 2025, from 6PM – 10PM at Eternal Grace Funerals, 1111 Logan Ave. Service to begin at 7PM. Alvina Rundle OM. (Aunt) will be officiating.

In respect to her daughter’s wishes Christina will be cremated and later interred at both Rose and Alex’s burial sites at Brookside Cemetery.
