Catherine Mary Sinclair

Peacefully at home our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, ,auntie, cousin, Catherine   Mary Sinclair passed away November 9,2021 in Winnipeg, Mb.at the age of 76 years. She was born November 20,1944.  She was married to our dad Maurice Traverse Sr. When our mom was well in her day she loved to make her own donuts, homemade cakes, bread, buns, fry bread and bannock. She leaves to mourn her children Beverly Beardy, Susan Campbell (Kenny),Sharon Traverse, Roberta Owen(Lloyd), Alice Traverse, Janice Traverse,  Maurice Traverse Jr. Grandson Hok, great grandchild Mya who she raised as her own. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Siblings:Garnet, Jim, Frances (Dennis),Thelma (Magnus), Janice (Batiese). Mom was predeceased by her mother Frances Sinclair, dad Walter Bird, son Nelson Sinclair, daughter Christina Beardy, grand children Nadine Richard, Stacy Richard, Beverly Calvert, Kathleen Beardy, Cody Traverse, Joey Traverse, Amanda Beardy, great grandchild Gage Guimond, son in law David (Robbie) Beardy Sr., husband Maurice Traverse Sr, brother Roy Sinclair, sisters Mae Sinclair, Brenda Sinclair and Muriel Stevenson. Wake Service will be held on Thursday November 18,2021 from 6 p.m. to 12 midnight at Eternal Grace Funerals 1111 Logan Avenue. Service will be held on Friday November 19,2021 at 11 a.m., also at the chapel.  Pastor Clarence Morse officiating Internment Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers John Sinclair Sr., David Beardy Jr., Lawrence Campbell, Klint Valiqueette, Jonathan Murdock and Heather Traverse. Everyone else will be honorary pallbearers.
