It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Cassandra (Cassie).

Cassandra was born in Winnipeg Manitoba and shortly after moved to Sturgeon Falls and then Sudbury Ontario. As a young girl she traveled to spend summers with nana Barb and papa Leo in Winnipeg or enjoyed adventures with nana and papa when they came to visit Sudbury in the summer months.
At age 10 Cassandra and her brother Chance moved to Winnipeg to reside with Nana Barb and Papa Leo where she attended John M. King and later Gordon Bell High School. She graduated in June 2018 as a mature student with her High School Diploma a month after Kyzer was born.
She was a very determined, hardworking, dedicated young single mother, setting goals, committed to working and providing a home and life for herself and her two young children.
She worked for Long Lake #58 Band Rep Program as an access worker for the membership here in Winnipeg, enjoying her job of helping families.
Cassandra also had finally met her forever soulmate Eric. They were planning a future together along with the children. She was excited and happily moving forward to the next steps.
Truly a big loss for our family. Words cannot express how we feel. Cassandra was always there for everyone. Her heart was kind and true and when someone was in need, they could always count of her. She touched the lives of all that had the privilege of meeting her.
She has left us with many gifts. Emma and Kyzer. Her gifts of kindness, friendship, compassion, empathy and caring of others.
We Thank the Creator for blessing us with 28 years of love.
As we move forward, she will walk with us forever in our hearts.
