Carol Lynn (Ostopowich) Montgomery

Carol Montgomery passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2024. A truly giving person, Carol was known for her radiant smile and her ability to bring joy to everyone around her. Her family will miss her more than words can express and will love her forever. Carol was predeceased by her beloved grandmother Kornelia Siatecki (1999), her father Ronald “Cuppie” Schmunk
(2000) her mother Nellie Schmunk (2019) and her loving partner and soulmate, Al Montgomery (2015). She also cherished the memory of her beloved dogs, Fritz, Heidi, Sandy and Eddie.
Carol is survived by her daughter Kerris Chinery (Chris), her son Ryan Montgomery (Tracy), and her cherished grandsons, Caelin, Camden, and Dylan. They will remember, love and honour
her always. Growing up in the North End of Winnipeg, Carol attended Tec Voc High School. In her early career, she worked for the University of Winnipeg, later enjoying successful careers in sales with Hershey Canada and Cadbury/Mosaic before her retirement. Carol will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Now, she rests in peace, reunited with her
soulmate, their hearts dancing together once more, forever grateful for a love that transcends time. In accordance with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no service will be held. Donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
