Carl Sanderson was born and raised in Meadow Portage with his parents Henry and Mary Sanderson. His early years were spent working on the farm as well as alongside his siblings as he grew up. Carl accepted the Lord in his life and witnessed the love of Jesus to others right until the end. Carl met and married his wife Annette and had 4 sons together. As a family they moved to the Wanless. Mb where they raised their family until the boys moved away to go to high school in Brandon Mb. Carl always mentioned that Darrell spent his 2 nd birthday in Wanless. Sadly, in 2012 Carl lost the love of his life Annette, she is greatly missed. Carl had a very strong work ethic, everything he did he did with all his might. Carl worked as a lumberjack at Manfor for many years, from 1974 to 1988. Carl had worked numerous jobs and was a skilled mechanic who taught his boys how to maintain their own vehicles.  Carl spent many hours reading and studying the word of God. He loved to share testimonies and preach to his grandchildren. He loved attending many church services in the Interlake area along with his mother Mary Sanderson. Carl was a strong believer and carried so much faith in prayer. He never hesitated to minister about God’s grace, mercy, and healing. He prayed for many people at gas stations, restaurants, hospitals and wherever he felt the need to pray for someone. His faith in God touched many people who knew or didn’t know him. Carl was also a licenced minster alongside his son Darrell. Carl had a heart to see the gospel preached to all people and laboured in setting up gospel camp meetings. Carl was on dialysis for 13 years at the Seven Oaks dialysis unit where he prayed and ministered to staff and patients. Dad will be greatly missed, but it’s not goodbye, but it’s see you later Dad. We will carry on until we reunite up there.
