It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of an amazing father, loving husband, caring friend and all around, a great man. Brian Rick Norval Maytwayashing passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, at home, at the young age of 36.
This loss leaves a tremendous scar on our hearts as Brian impacted the lives of many. He was an amazing man, an extremely proud father and a loving husband who always put his wife and girls before anything and anyone. He was inventive, caring and protective of those he loved and cared about. His humor was his love language, teasing and bugging to annoy family and friends, making everyone laugh and smile. Something we will all miss very much, our lives now that much quieter and dull without him here and near.
Brian leaves to mourn his passing his wife Kayla, daughters August, BriaRae and Melody. His mother-in-law, whom he called Mom and held in high regard, Marsha Laquette. As well as his mother Kelly, sister Cherry, brothers Mark and Dustin, Justin Desjarlais and Jamie Desjarlais. His Grandmother Rose Tarko. Beloved uncles Franklin Maytwayashing, Sheldon Maytwayashing, Leo Asham and Russell Maytwayashing. And very special friends Andy Williams and Nathan McLean. Brian is predeceased by his Granny Doris Maytwayashing, his father Rick Tarko, his son Brian Rick Maytwayashing Jr, daughter Kaylee Marie Maytwayashing, cousin DJ Maytwayashing-Chippeway and childhood best friend Wyatt Paul.
Wake service will be held on Friday October 18,2024 from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals. Service will follow on Saturday October 19,2024 also at the chapel, cremation to follow.
