Bernadette Batenchuk Obituary

The family of Bernadette Batenchuk are saddened to announce her passing on Feb. 22, 2026.

Bernadette was born June 24, 1949, in Poplar River, Manitoba, to Lawrence Bruce and Esther Fontaine.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Robert, Alex, and Hope Walker, Vivian, Donna Batenchuk, and George Bruce, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her sons Paul and Donald, and her life partner Robert Walker.

Wake service to be held on Monday March 2, 2026, from 6pm – 10pm, at Eternal Grace Funerals (10-1111 Logan Ave. Winnipeg MB).

Cremation to follow.
