Ashley Dawn Lee Fagnon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear daughter, mother, sister, auntie, cousin and friend Ashley Dawn Lee Fagnan. Ashley was born in Winnipeg mb at the Women's Centre. April 17th, 1985. And passed away at the Women's Centre June 20th, 2024. Left to cherish our daughter's memory are her parents Marion Fagnan and Donald Gurniack, her children Devlin, Dakota and Eternity. And brother Danny Courchene. Her partner Brian George as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Ashley was predeceased by her grandpa Arthur Fagnan,brother Kyle Fagnan, uncles Leonard Fagnan, Robert Fagnan, auntie Joan Fagnan and cousin Leah-Marie Sutherland. Ashley was an angel in disguise; she would walk around with a smile like she knew a secret and won't share it, she was good to people, always had a kind word or made time to listen to you. She loved it when we moved to Vancouver, at the age of 5 she was dying from liver disease. She took the news better than we did. When we asked her what she wanted to do she said quit school and move to B.C. she wanted to see her father, Donald. As time passed her liver started healing itself and she said she knew she wouldn't die because she had a dream. Her angel said you can't die because your too small for your angel wings. The angel said you must come back when you’re older. Her greatest joy were her children, she loved them so very much my beautiful angel we will all meet you in Paradise.

Wake service will be held on Saturday June 29,2024 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals. Cremation to follow.
