April 2, 1986 – January 19, 2024

In the early morning of January 19, 2024 April passed away in Winnipeg Manitoba.  Loving daughter of Martha Catcheway and Dennis Romaniuk.

 April is survived by her loving children Sirena Catcheway, Zachery Catcheway, Neilyha Catcheway and her children’s dad Shane Wilson.  Her brothers: Sheldon Catcheway, Jonathan Catcheway, Lyndon Richard.  Sisters: Tania Park, Peggy Beaver.  Uncles: Peter Catcheway, Melvin Catcheway. Kerry Catcheway and Martha Beardy.  Baptiste and Laurie Bone, Jim Paul Bone at St Amelie Manitoba. Bruce Romaniuk in Edmonton Alberta.  April called Bruce ‘My RCMP Uncle’.  Aunts: Ida Houle, Betty Richard and survived by cousins and relatives and friends too many to mention, nephews and nieces, special Coco Shirley Omera Shorting

Predeceased by her brother Neilson James Catcheway on October 15, 2019. Grandparents; Johnny and Marie Richard Catcheway, Michael and Anne Romaniuk.  Uncles and Aunts: Gilbert and Flora Catcheway, James and Theresa Catcheway, Norman George Catcheway, Lloyd Houle-Alphonse and Martha Catcheway, Florence Parenteau and Rose Wood, Madeline Richard, Sandra Campbell, Olive Catcheway-Sumner.

Wake Service will be held Thursday February 15, 2024 from 7pm-11pm at Eternal Grace Funerals.  Service will be Friday February 16, 2024 from 11am-12pm at McDermot Avenue Baptist Church. Lunch will be served.  All pallbearers be present, then April will be taken for cremation.  April will be laid to rest with her brother Neilson James Catcheway at a later date. 

Father I come before you thirsty for your righteousness.  For my waters have run dry.  Pour out your love on me so that I may be filled throughout my being.  Refreshed and restored by Your nourishing Spirit and use me to bring forth new and vibrant life from the soil of my life.
