Anthony (Tony) Ray Chartrand

With his loving family by his side, Anthony Ray Chartrand passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 41. Born on January 20, 1985, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Anthony’s life was filled with deep love, laughter, and strong family connections.

Anthony was the cherished son of Huggsy Chartrand and the devoted brother of Rafael Chartrand and his sister Rachelle. His greatest pride and joy was his son, Carter Huppe Chartrand, whom he loved with all his heart.

Anthony was born and raised in Winnipeg, surrounded by a large and supportive family that included many aunties, uncles, and cousins. He was lovingly raised by his Koko (Grandmother), Irene Dorothy Chartrand, whose guidance and warmth shaped much of who he became. She passed away on September 21, 2019, and her memory remained a constant source of strength for him. Anthony also carried with him the teachings and love of his Grandpa Swede, Antoine Willard Chartrand, who passed on September 20, 2013.

Anthony will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humour, and the way he always looked out for the people he loved. His presence brought comfort, and his memory will forever bring light.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals (10–1111 Logan Ave. Winnipeg MB).

Funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 12pm, also at Eternal Grace Funerals.

Burial at Brookside Cemetery to follow.

Anthony will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. May he rest peacefully in the loving embrace of those who went before him.
