After a battle with cancer our “DORI” Left us peacefully at 2:45 PM September 16, 2025.
GRADUATED TO SUFFER NO MORE.
Survived by her Mom and Dad - Robert and Judy Ricker. Brothers Brian (Chantal), Josh and Rick. Nephews Jason, Jordan, Jaxson and Joseph. Nieces Divinity, Demetria and Delayni. Cherish, Aurora, Justice and Preston. All whom she loved so much and who loved her. Her Granny Bertha Sumner. Her aunties Christine Portelance, Marlyn Neepin, Darlene (Ted) Woodhouse, Jacqueline Sinclair, Shirley Sumner. Uncles Hughie (Martha) Sumner and Walter Gabriel. Special Friend Kodi Andrew’s and son Zaylane, whom she also considered nephew.
Predeceased by her grandpa Samuel Sumner who called her Anne Murray! Uncle Leslie Sumner, Angus Woodford, Hector Sinclair. Aunties Sylvia Woodford, Grace Gabriel. Nephews DeNasiel and Jasper Moran, sister-in-law Cherise Ross.
Anne-Marie was adopted into our family and became a part of our Sumner Family.
Biological parents were Shirley Menow and Alexander Bosnic.
Anne was born prematurely at the women’s hospital in Winnipeg and sadly where she also left this world from. She lived a life where she wanted to be happy and spread love and joy-Her Motto was “family first always”. She left her mark with everyone who met her. She was an unforgettable person.
She graduated from St Johns high School and was always proud of that.
Anne loved fiercely and her nephews and nieces were the recipients of that fierce love. She called them her baby bosses!
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Wake service will be held Thursday September 25, 2025, at 7:00pm - 11:00pm with Pastor Jim Anderson ministering in word and song along with Ken Murdock, at Eternal Grace Funerals
Funeral will be officiated by Derrick Anderson on Friday September 26, 2025, at 11:00am, also at Eternal Grace Funerals.
Internment Brookside Cemetery Winnipeg Manitoba.
