Amber Raylene Burr

In loving memory of Amber Raylene Burr, of Moosonee, ON. Who passed on August 14, 2025. At the age of 20, in Crosslake MB.

Beloved daughter of Rory and Ardale Settee. Loving sister to Malachi, Kionna, Jakub and Kendall. Loved and cherished by her grandparents Doug and

Annabella, her aunts April (LJay), Brittany, Lysha, and Serena, and her uncles Michael and Darrel.

She leaves behind many close relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her biological father Justin Burr and biological grandmother Sylvia Dell, and grandparents Dwayne and Darlene Settee.

Amber was born I New Liskard, ON, at the Temiskaming Hospital and raised in Moosonee, Ontario. In 2022, she and her family moved to Crosslake, MB. As a young girl Amber was vibrant and outgoing. She loved to dress up and play with her mom’s makeup. Her favorite past time was getting her nails done with her mom and sisters. Amber loved being around her family, whether it’s her immediate or extended. She enjoyed cooking them meals, family gatherings/vacations or any outdoor excursions. Amber was a protective sister and cousin. Her friends describe her as funny, outgoing and genuine. She made a lasting impact on those she left behind with her caring and compassionate nature.

A wake service is being held in Winnipeg, MB, at the Eternal Grace Funeral Home on August 28, 2025, at 6pm. Arrangements are being made to take Amber home to Moosonee Ontario for the funeral and burial.
