Albert James Edward Davey

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert James Edward Davey (Homer) on May 18, 2025. Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.  He leaves to mourn his sons, Justice, Jordan, Stormie (Daze). Daughter, Precious and 7 grandchildren. Sister, Charolette Davey. Many special cousins that he considered as brothers and sisters. Monica, Mary, Edith, Loretta (Darryl) Stevie, Robert Jr. Matthew and The Gladu Family.

Albert was a caring, loving and humble man to all his family and friends. His smile and laughter lit up the room. There was never a dull moment when he was in your presence. In his early years he was raised Christianity way. And when he became a young man, he found the traditional way. He enjoyed his culture and took pride in it. Loved to sing, drum and dance. Whenever anyone needed help from him, he was there for you. 

Albert was predeceased by his grandparents, Albert & Mary Marsden. Parents Christina & Lorne Davey. And his brother/cousin Shawn Moore.

Wake service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 7PM – 10PM at Eternal Grace Funerals. Funeral service will be Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11AM also at the Chapel. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.

The Family would like to give special thanks and gratitude to the following: St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg Paramedics, Eternal Grace Funerals, and Lake St. Martin. Also, thank you to all the people who came by to show your love, support and prayers. Meeg-wetch!
