With heavy and saddened hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, partner, dad, papa, uncle, nephew and cousin Alastair Philip Green on January 20,2025.
Alastair leaves to mourn his partner, Risa Douglas; stepchildren Peter Leandra, Alana, Roderick, Santina and Myrna; numerous grandchildren; brothers Nelson Green (Delores) and Eugene Greene (Amanda); sisters Janet (Mark), Wilma (Ronald), Delores (Roger), and Glenda; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew; his only uncle Michael.
Alastair loved all his nephews and nieces and enjoyed spending time with them.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lillian Ann Green 2009; Mother Edna May Greene 1999; Father Jacob James Greene in 2014; sisters Brenda Violet Green 2013 and Donna Jean Green 2019; nephews Ian Greene Sr. 2015, and Bradley Errol Green 2016; grandmother Esther Berens (John); uncles Norman Bruce (Violet) and Phillip Bruce (Violet); great nephew Jarome Greene 2025.
Wake service will be held on Friday January 24,2025 from 7 p.m.- 11 p.m. at Eternal Grace Funerals. Wake service will continue Saturday January 25, and Sunday January 26,2025 at the Pentecostal Church in Poplar River. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 27,2025 at 11 a.m. also from the church. Pastor B. Mitchell officiating. Interment Poplar River First Nation.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chantelle Greene, Aaron Greene, Shane Greene, Terrence Mitchell, Edna Green, Jeffrey Wesley, Cody Greene, Chastity Mitchell, Cory Greene, Graham Green , Jared Green, Konnor Greene.
The Pallbearers will be Freddy Bruce, Langford Mason, Joe Hudson, Greg Bittern, Warren Greene and Willy Bruce.
