Adella Autumn Rain Bushie-Black

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister and friend Adella Bushie-Black (Red Wolf) at the tender age of 11 on October 28, 2025, in Winnipeg, Manitoba when the Creator called her home.

Adella is survived by her mother Pauline Black and father Lionel Bushie Sr.; brothers Stony, Tyrone, Seth, Lionel Jr., Lysander and Linus; sisters Kadence, Kaelynn, Gina, Loni, Lila and baby Pauline; Aunties Jessica, Florence (Jason), Mary (Craig), Jennifer, Cathy (Dustin), Jessica Reick (Bernard); Uncles Kelsey, Peter, Rene, Kenneth Jr., Jeffery (Carolyn), Kenneth (Cheese), Jake and Vernon; Grandfathers, Kenneth Turtle Sr., Arnold Kennedy; and Great Grandmother Victoria Turtle.

Adella is predeceased by Grandmothers Florence (Tiny) Black and Georgina Bushie; Grandfather George Green; Uncles Kendall Turtle-Black, William (lil Buck) Hamilton; and Aunties Janine Black, Gina Black and Alexis Swampy.

Adella loved animals. She often visited the Humane Society, where she would spend her time cuddling and caring for cats and kittens. The kindness and compassion she showed for animals speaks to who she was as a person. Adella was kind and pure of heart.

Adella was active, vibrant and spirited. She enjoyed swimming, going on walks, and eating ice cream. Her favorite classes were art and science. Listening to music brought her joy, especially music with good bass guitar and songs by her favorite K-Pop group – the Stray Kids.

Adella loved her sisters, brothers, cousins and friends. Her relationships were important to her, and she tried to make sure people knew she cared. She loved talking with her sister Gina and their strong bond forever remains.

Adella touched the lives of many people, and we were blessed to have had the privilege of being part of her family, friends and community. She will be missed by all those who knew her. Her bright smile and charming personality will be forever cherished.
