Josiah Jett Hudson Pratt age 19 passed away July 11, 2019. Josiah was born June 2, 2000 in Brandon, Manitoba to his parents Samantha Pratt (Sioux Valley, MB) and Ron Moose (South Indian Lake, MB). His spirit name was “Mato Ska Iyanka “Running White Bear” Josiah leaves behind his partner Desirae Yassie and son Jeremiah, mother Samantha, brothers Lyle, Christopher, Israel, Ozzy and Rane, sisters Tessa, Skye and Grace along with numerous aunts, uncles’ cousins and friends. Josiah was predeceased by his father Ron Moose, Grandparents Evelyn and Luke Moose also Osborne and Beatrice Pratt, and sister Taija. A traditional service will be held on July 16, 2019 at Eternal Grace Funeral Home 1111 Logan Avenue, Winnipeg, MB from 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm, followed by a traditional funeral service in the community of Sioux Valley Dakota Nation July 17, 2019 at Sioux Valley Veteran’s Hall commencing at 10:00 am followed by interment at Pratt Cemetery.
